SISTER CLUBS

Becoming a Sister Club is a great way to get involved with the World Federation of Youth Clubs International Support Component. A Sister Club is an established and high performing Youth Service organization interested in helping and collaborating through the sharing of program information, leadership guidance support and potential youth and staff exchange programs (optional). 

Success is dependent on the agreement established between the two organizations involved. 

All that is asked is that:     
  * Both organizations have a dedicated administrative point of contact
  * Both organizations are available to communicate on a regular basis (e.g. monthly, quarterly)
  * Both organizations are willing to share, articulate and retool best practices.
  * Sister Club has experiences or willingness to learn about working with diverse cultures
  * Both organizations are willing to collaborate in fundraising efforts

  1. PROGRAMMATIC SUPPORT
      1. Provide best practices in youth and teen programming (lesson plans, innovative programs)
  2. OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
      1. Provide Human Resources tools (job descriptions, written corrections)
      2. Provide Organization policies and procedures
      3. Provide sample budgets and tools for finance and accounting
  3. TRAINING SUPPORT
      1. Help Youth Clubs develop their “Youth Service Culture” based on their own experiences and realities
      2. Best practices and implementation of programs and initiatives relevant to
        their country/location
  4. RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
      1. Support Youth Club with best practice strategies in raising revenue
  5. MARKETING, OUTREACH AND RETENTION
      1. Assist Youth Clubs increase their visibility in their specific region or country
      2. Assist Youth Clubs to build their social media campaigns and other marketing campaigns
      3. Assist with ideas to best reach and retain hard to reach youth
