BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS OF GHANA

Boys and Girls Clubs of Ghana continue their focus on Education efforts. Continuously partnering with local communities and US based entities to identify locations that need a Club like setting the most, usually a local school, and attempting to secure resources from those abroad, willing to support the efforts in Ghana.

Most recently, Boys and Girls Clubs of Ghana were offered a 9 room building, called the Zoko Goo school building. This is a great accomplishment for the region, and a US based Rotary Club has already committed to funding the initial funds to make this project a reality.

Currently BGC Ghana is located in 41 schools, serving over 2,000 youth. A Boys & Girls Clubs of America staff member had an opportunity to visit with the leadership in 2018, and while the Clubs are very remote, she had an opportunity to meet some key people and were very impressed by what they heard.
